IRI: Kenyan and Tanzanian Legislators Visit Minnesota to Learn About Good Governance

The International Republican Institute (IRI) conducted a ten-day study mission to the United States for six members of parliament from Tanzania and four members of parliament from Kenya focused on enhancing the building blocks of a well-governed democracy. The visit included a week in Washington, D.C. during which the delegates met with federal government offices, federal legislators, and nonprofit organizations. The second week included a visit to St. Paul, Minnesota to meet with state level legislators and executive branch officials, as well as nonprofit organizations, municipal officials, and other key elections stakeholders.
