Ms. Katherine Maguad

Katherine is the OIC-Administrative Assistant at the Center for Negros Development (Sustainability and Social Change) of the University of St. La Salle. In this capacity she focuses on designing and implementing programs, projects and activities that promote the theory and practice of sustainable development. This is accomplished through education, health, nutrition and good governance, as well as children and youth development.  Katherine also manages the Busog, Lusog and Talino, or BLT, (Well-fed, Healthy and Smart) School Feeding Program in Negros.

Prior to her current position, Katherine was a community affairs assistant in the Office of the Governor of Negros Occidental Province. She also co-founded both the Provincial Youth Development Council, as well as the Pax Christi Negros Youth Group.
